- Our own servers. Core data is stored on our own servers in Sandefjord, and transcription runs there by default.
- Access that follows the job. Create roles such as sales rep and consultant, and control read and write access per module.
- Secrets encrypted. Sensitive keys are stored encrypted with AES-256.
- Full export. You can take your data with you at any time.
- Your own server if needed. With special requirements, Skjld Cloud can be delivered on your own server or on site.
- Data processing agreement. If you store customer data, we sign a written data processing agreement.
- Not for sensitive personal data. The standard service is not approved for special categories of personal data under GDPR Article 9, such as health data.

What people ask.
Is Skjld Cloud ready to use?
Yes. Version 1.0 was released on 30 October 2026, and the product is still being developed.
Where is the data?
Core data is stored on our own servers in Sandefjord, and traffic passes through Cloudflare. If you use the built-in AI features, such as minutes and text drafts, the necessary text is sent to the AI provider OpenAI. If you connect your own AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, that provider’s terms apply. You can export your data at any time.
Which AI models can we connect?
Every AI tool that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Access follows the roles you have set up.
Can we switch AI model in the middle of a project?
Yes. The context sits in Skjld Cloud, not in the AI tool. You can switch tools and carry on with the same project.
Can we sign documents in Skjld Cloud?
Yes. Contracts are sent for e-signing from the same place, and everything is recorded in an audit log.
How does transcription work?
Hold the meeting in the workspace or upload a recording. The audio is transcribed locally on our own servers in Sandefjord. AI then writes the minutes and extracts tasks.
Who decides what employees can see?
You do. Access is controlled per module in each workspace.
Can we move from Notion?
Yes. Export the content as Markdown and import it into Skjld Cloud. Both single pages and whole workspaces are supported.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in Norwegian and English. Transcription understands more than 90 languages, and Norwegian is specially trained.
